Malandela’s Bed and Breakfast at in Malkerns is an Afro-chic styled B and B set in superb indigenous gardens, each room is individually styled, and have been featured in interior decor magazines. They deliberately have no TVs. Simple and stylish, immaculately clean, Malandela’s restaurant is next door. Very attractive pool area. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended. Nyanza has several cottages, each with two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a sitting room, veranda and kitchen in pleasant, quiet, rural surroundings in Malkerns. Nyanza is a vibrant stables, highly recommended for horse lovers. Telephone 528 3090.

Sondzela Backpackers Lodge is in Malkerns, on the boundary of the Mlilwane Game Sanctuary. It is in a converted house with dormitories, single and double rooms. You can go horseriding, walking or cycling in the reserve. The lodge is well equipped and has a swimming pool.
